The Elmhurst Blue Jays women’s basketball team has been competing in Division III of the NCAA since 1983. The team has had several successful seasons over the years, including reaching the NCAA tournament in 2013 and 2014. The team also broke the school record for wins in a season during the 2013-14 campaign with 22 victories.
College women’s basketball has seen significant growth over the years, and Elmhurst College has adequately kept pace with the evolving competition. As it stands, the Blue Jays compete in the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW), which is one of the most competitive Division III conferences in the country.
