Ishe Smith is a former professional boxer from Las Vegas, Nevada. He was born on July 22, 1978 and began his boxing career at the age of 20. Over his career, Smith fought in multiple weight classes (from light middleweight to super welterweight) and amassed a record of 29 wins, 11 losses, and 0 draws.

Smith’s early years in boxing were spent mostly on the undercard of bigger fights, and he didn’t gain national attention until his appearance on the reality show The Contender in 2004. He was the oldest contestant on the show, but he impressed viewers with his tenacity and skill. He went on to win the competition, which earned him a shot at the WBC light middleweight title.

Unfortunately for Smith, that title fight didn’t turn out well – he lost in a unanimous decision to champion Sergio Mora.
