The college sponsors 23 varsity athletic teams, 11 for men and 12 for women, that compete in the Northeast-10 Conference, as well as lacrosse programs at both the Division I and Division II levels. Some of the sports offered at the college include basketball, baseball, tennis, soccer, swimming, volleyball, golf, and track and field.
The Le Moyne Dolphins have a history of success in athletics, having captured numerous conference championships and nearly 20 national championships. In recent years, the men's lacrosse team has been particularly dominant, finishing with a perfect record and winning the national title in 2018.
Outside of their championship-winning teams, the Dolphins also boast excellent facilities and a supportive community of fans and alumni. The Henninger Athletic Center offers state-of-the-art fitness and training equipment, while many alumni continue to support the college's athletic programs through donations and volunteer work.
Even beyond the court or field, Le Moyne students there seems to be a blend of strong athletics and academic focus. Student-athletes attending Le Moyne College consistently perform well within the classroom, building on their commitment to hard work and excellence.
