As a proud feminist, Lizz has been actively involved in advocating for women's rights, including reproductive health. In 2015, she co-created Lady Parts Justice League, a collective of artists, comedians, and activists that uses humor and satire to combat attacks on reproductive rights.
To raise awareness and funds for the organization, Lizz started hosting a series of comedy tours called Vagical Mystery Tours. These tours featured Lizz and other comedians performing stand-up comedy shows while educating the audience about the importance of reproductive justice.
The first tour took place in August 2015 and covered seven cities across the Midwest. Since then, Lizz has organized several more tours, featuring performers like Wanda Sykes, Margaret Cho, and Sandra Bernhard. The tours have garnered critical acclaim and helped raise thousands of dollars for Lady Parts Justice League.
In addition to the Vagical Mystery Tours, Lizz has also been involved in organizing other benefit concerts. For example, in February 2019, she hosted a comedy show called Laughter Trumps Hate that raised money for refugee organizations. The show featured comedians like Jordan Carlos, Joyelle Nicole Johnson, and Franchesca Ramsey.
