History
The London Knights were founded in 1965 as part of the Southern Ontario Junior A Hockey League. In 1977, the team joined the OHL and has been a member ever since. The team won their first OHL championship in 2005 and followed it up with their second championship in 2012. In the same year, they also won the Memorial Cup which is awarded to the best Canadian junior ice hockey team.
