Olympiastadion Berlin Seating Chart

The Olympic Stadium in Berlin has been a landmark of the German capital since its construction in the 1930s. With its imposing architecture and rich historical significance, it has become one of the most iconic venues in Europe.

Originally built for the 1936 Summer Olympics, the stadium was designed by architect Werner March with the vision of using the Games to showcase National Socialist Germany to the world. It was intended to be a monument to Nazi ideology and their supposed superiority, but history has erased those intentions, and instead we remember it for its architectural beauty and impressive engineering accomplishments.

After World War II, the stadium underwent various renovations, rendering it into a multi-purpose event venue that could accommodate a wide range of events from concerts to sports matches. The capacity of the venue is an astonishing 74,475 spectators, thus making it one of the largest stadiums in Germany.

As an event venue, the Olympic Stadium in Berlin has hosted some of the most popular entertainment acts in recent years. Top-notch performers like Beyoncé, Michael Jackson, and Coldplay have all performed at this grand venue. Being hugely accessible via public transport made it easy for visitors to reach the stadium, and because of flexible seating arrangements, anyone who attends any event held here has a great view of the stage and, when used as a sporting venue, the action on the field.

Football is undoubtedly one of the most significant sporting events held at the Olympic Stadium, given that it is home to one of Germany's most successful clubs, Hertha BSC. With cup finals, internationals, and other notable games hosted here over the years, football fans can visit the site through guided tours which allows accessing exclusive areas that are usually closed to the public.

On the other hand, music lovers have also been well-served by this incredible space. As previously mentioned, the stadium has played host to epic concerts, including the Rolling Stones, AC/DC, Eminem, and Paul McCartney, with every musician experiencing the unique energy that comes with a stadium which has become synonymous with excellence.

In summary, The Olympic Stadium in Berlin is an iconic venue in Germany, known for its architectural marvel and historical significance. With countless events hosted here over the years, it has truly cemented its status as one of Europe's premier event venues, and whether you are a sports fanatic, music lover, or history aficionado, this venue will leave a lasting impression on your experience.
