Southwestern Oklahoma State Bulldogs football team is a Division II program that competes in the Great American Conference (GAC). The Bulldogs have been playing college football for over a century and have established themselves as one of the most successful programs at their level.

College football fans typically recognize Division I programs, but there is plenty of excitement and entertainment to be found in Division II football with teams like the SWOSU Bulldogs. During the 2021 spring season, the Bulldogs played six games and won four of them. They are now looking forward to the fall season and returning to a ten-game slate. Although they fell just short of the postseason last year, the Bulldogs are primed to contend in the GAC once again.
