The Adirondack Flames were a minor league hockey team based in Glens Falls, New York from 2014 to 2015. They were an affiliate of the NHL's Calgary Flames and played in the American Hockey League (AHL), which is one step below the NHL.

The team was originally known as the Saint John Flames and played in Saint John, New Brunswick from 1993 to 2003. In 2013, it was announced that the Calgary Flames would be moving their AHL affiliate to Glens Falls and renaming them the Adirondack Flames.

The team played at the Glens Falls Civic Center, which had a capacity of 4,806 for hockey games. During their one season in Glens Falls, the Adirondack Flames finished with a record of 30-38-6-2, missing the playoffs.

Despite their short history, the Adirondack Flames had several notable players on their roster. Forward Emile Poirier led the team in scoring with 42 points in 55 games. Defenseman Tyler Wotherspoon also had a strong season, finishing with 30 points in 52 games.

The Adirondack Flames' affiliation with the Calgary Flames meant that several players who eventually made it to the NHL spent time in Glens Falls. Among them were forward Sam Bennett, defenseman Rasmus Andersson, and goaltender Jon Gillies.

Sadly, after just one season, the Adirondack Flames were relocated once again, this time to Stockton, California, where they became the Stockton Heat. The team cited attendance and facility issues as reasons for the move.

The Adirondack Flames may have been short-lived, but they still hold a place in hockey history. They provided a platform for young players to develop their skills and chase their dreams of playing in the NHL. And while they may be gone, they will not be forgotten by the fans who supported them in Glens Falls for that one season.
