The Blazers were established in 2014 and began playing in the WSHL during the 2014-15 season. They play their home games at the Blazers Ice Centre in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
The Blazers have found success in the WSHL, making it to the league playoffs in each of their first five seasons. In the 2017-18 season, they won the Western Division title and made it to the WSHL Finals before losing to the El Paso Rhinos.
