Y&T, formerly known as Yesterday & Today, is an American hard rock/heavy metal band formed in the early 1970s in Oakland, California. The band's original members included Dave Meniketti, Phil Kennemore, Leonard Haze, and Joey Alves. Known for their energetic live performances and melodic hard rock sound, Y&T quickly gained a loyal following in the Bay Area music scene.
